QUEENS PARK

Public BBQ

Nestled in a natural amphitheatre beneath dramatic sandstone cliffs, Queens Park sprawls across 26 hectares of open green space with panoramic views of Sydney. This historic park, established in 1888, transforms from peaceful weekday sanctuary to bustling weekend sports hub. Dog owners gravitate here for the unfenced freedom and sociable canine community, while families appreciate the secure playground positioned beside a charming café. The newly constructed toilet facilities add modern convenience to this heritage setting. Multiple sporting fields accommodate everything from casual kickabouts to school competitions, connected by dedicated footpaths and bike lanes along the western and southern perimeters. Though parking presents the occasional challenge, the park's spacious layout and dramatic cliff backdrop more than compensate, offering visitors a genuine escape within the urban landscape.
